Decision support

IRAP provides support for a wide variety of decision makers at UCOP and the UC campuses. We support systemwide policy committees such as: 

• Board of Admissions and Relations with Schools (BOARS)
• Academic Planning Council
• Coordinating Committee on Graduate Affairs
• and others.

IRAP in collaboration with campuses convenes systemwide groups such as the Institutional Research Directors, the Undergraduate Deans, the Summer Session Directors, the Extension Directors and others.

IRAP supports various UCOP departments such as:

• Academic Personnel and Programs
• Graduate, Undergraduate and Equity Affairs
• Research and Innovation
• Budget Analysis and Planning
• State Government Relations
• Federal Government Relations
• Alumni and Constituent Affairs
• Institutional Advancement

• Systemwide Human Resources
• and others.

IRAP and the Data Services unit of Information Technology Services are collaborating on a new data warehouse infrastructure to support decision making and analysis across UCOP.
