Service Description
Box is a cloud-based service that provides secure file storage and sharing, and allows UCOP and non-UCOP people to collaborate on documents. With Box, users are able to share files and folders while controlling access, comment directly on files, manage and preview files in various formats, and access content through all major browsers and through mobile devices running iOS, Android and Windows mobile.

In addition, Box makes available over 1000+ compatible applications that leverage the Box platform. Box also provides a published API that allows for local development of Box compatible applications, including such diverse use cases as tools to sync data between devices, file transfer (FTP), storing SQL backups, file encryption, and faxing.
