Accreditation
Each University of California campus is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC). IRAP serves as liaison to WSCUC on behalf of the system as a whole and coordinates with UC campus accreditation liaison representatives.
In this role, IRAP staff respond to proposed changes in accrediting practices, address concerns by leveraging input from all ten campuses, support WSCUC consultations with UC Office of the President leaders, and advise UC's Office of Federal Governmental Relations on accreditation issues at the national level.
