VPN
Service Description
ITS offers a Virtual Private Network
(VPN) service, which enables authorized wireless and remote users with UC owned
computers to securely access internal UCOP electronic resources without being
physically located in a UCOP building. ITS configures the computer and installs
software to support the service.
How to Order
Use the IT Service Hub to request a VPN
connection. ITS will verify that prerequisites for receiving VPN service have
been met (see eligibility) and then will schedule a time to meet with the user,
install the VPN software, and offer training.
How to Request Support
Support is available M – F, 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Request
support through the IT Service
