UCLA's New Chief Procurement Officer

Ozro T. (O.T.) Wells II joined UCLA in March of 2020 as Chief Procurement officer. In this role, O.T. is responsible for all procurement and payables for UCLA which includes Accounts Payable, Procurement, Pro-card, Supplier Diversity, and Strategic Sourcing Initiatives for the university.

O.T. comes to UCLA from Georgetown University where he was the Chief Procurement Officer. Prior to Georgetown, O.T. was Vice President and Global Head of Business Operations Sourcing for AIG where he lead all aspects of strategic sourcing and procurement for real estate and construction, facilities management, travel, vehicle and aviation fleet management, call and data centers, marketing/communications, human resources, benefits administration, executive recruiting, security, and corporate business services.

Prior to AIG, O.T. held numerous executive positions at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Telcordia Technologies, and AT&T. O.T. holds a B.A. in Political Science from Morehouse College and a J.D. from Georgetown University.

O.T. currently lives in Washington D.C. with his wife, son and Golden Retriever, Buttercup. The Wells family look forward to relocating to Los Angeles soon, once life begins to normalize.
