How to Join PACSW

 

PACSW is seeking new members for its 2025-27 committee season. All non-represented career employees are invited to join. PACSW is invested in the success of all women at UCOP. The charge to the committee is to advance an agenda to improve the climate and opportunities for women at UCOP.

 

It is an exciting time to join PACSW as the role of Employee Resource Groups (ERG) is evolving at UCOP. The work of PACSW is more important than ever with the elevation of voices and perspectives of the ERGs. Examples of PACSW’s work include Demystifying the Promotion Process, the Women We Admire Speaker Series and the rooftop garden on the Franklin Building 5th Floor patio. Through participation, PACSW members also become part of a dynamic, interesting, fun, and inclusive network of professionals across UCOP departments and at different stages along the career continuum.

 

Membership terms last two years and are renewable up to six years total. Members devote two to three hours each month to PACSW activities, including a monthly meeting and active participation on a subcommittee. PACSW meetings meet on the third Tuesday from 12:10-1:00 p.m.
