Reducing the health burden of air pollution through electronic medical record risk prediction
Project Description
Samuel’s project will seek to link electronic medical record data and climate data to identify individuals at risk of climate-related illness, such as heat illness or exacerbation of underlying respiratory disease. The ultimate objective of his project is to develop interventions for susceptible individuals, providing education and resources to mitigate the risk of illness during high risk weather and climate events. The aim is to enhance health resilience in the face of worsening climate.
