PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Carmen Lopez is focused on engaging UC San Diego students in understanding and helping the campus meet its carbon neutrality goals through the Carbon Neutrality (CNI) Ambassadors Program. The program for the 2018-2019 academic year will train student ambassadors, who will then present the information to classes, residents, resource centers, etc. to educate the student community. Carmen participated in the CNI Ambassadors program under the previous Student Engagement Fellow, Riya Sony, during the 2017-18 academic year as a climate change ambassador and engaged extensively with the UC San Diego student community.
