Labor reporting
The Institutional Research and Academic Planning (IRAP) team coordinates and submits responses to several key labor-related surveys. By managing these efforts across the University of California system, IRAP ensures consistent definitions, streamlined reporting, and reduced workload for local Institutional Research and Human Resources offices at each campus.

Occupational Employment & Wage Statistics (OEWS)
The Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS) program provides comprehensive data on job roles and wages across industries. This survey helps inform decisions on workforce development, compensation planning, and broader economic policymaking.
Annual Survey of Public Employment and Payroll (ASPEP)
This annual survey, hosted by the U.S. Census Bureau, collects data on the structure and payroll expenses of state and local governments throughout the United States. The results are used to inform budgeting, staffing policies, and workforce management in the public sector.
