About Staff Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
Systemwide Staff Equity, Diversity & Inclusion oversees the development of the equity and inclusion strategy for all University of California Staff at all UC locations. This includes programs and initiatives that promote and support an inclusive and safe working environment for both policy covered and represented Staff at 10 campuses and 5 medical centers as well as providing any requested support and guidance to the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. This group partners closely with University leadership, particularly the EDI leaders, at each location with the goal of effectively contributing to and ensuring alignment on strategies and objectives laid out in the overall University EDI framework supporting Faculty, Staff & Students. Staff EDI also advises Senior Leadership on systematic issues relating to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility and oversees development, implementation and instruction of education and training to managers and staff on their responsibilities in supporting the goals of diversity, equity and inclusion.
