The UC Finance Center of Expertise (CoE) is a centralized hub for financial knowledge, tools, and capabilities that drive continuous improvement and innovation across the finance organization.

Built on a foundation of excellence, the CoE consists of three core components unified by a continuous improvement framework and intake system. Through ongoing benchmarking, KPI measurement, and collaborative problem-solving, we refine processes, enhance interactions, and foster a culture that values first principles, reflection, and adaptability.

The UC Finance CoE - Data Capability: The Data Capability Center of Expertise (CoE) is focused on building a unified, secure, and scalable cloud-based data repository that fuels AI-driven insights and innovation across UC Finance. By integrating data from multiple sources into a single source of truth, the CoE eliminates fragmentation, silos, and inconsistencies, while strengthening data governance and standardization. This initiative replaces redundant manual and legacy processes with modern, automated solutions, creating a foundation for smarter decision-making, operational efficiency, and continuous innovation.
The UC Finance CoE - Training & Ongoing Learning: The Learning and Development Center of Expertise (CoE) is dedicated to building a modern platform and framework for continuous learning where customizable curricula deliver relevant, credible, and engaging content across multiple formats. Designed to be UC Finance’s engine for capability building and performance excellence, this CoE goes beyond training delivery. Its purpose is to cultivate institutional intelligence, capturing knowledge, developing talent, and fostering a culture of lifelong learning. Its mission is clear: to elevate the capability of every team and individual, ensuring UC Finance advances smarter, stronger, and more resilient than ever before.

More than a calendar, this CoE serves as a collaboration and intelligence platform.
