There are a variety of programs and resources to support academic appointees. Here is a list of programs at the systemwide and campus level:

Work/life programs

This UC site provides general information designed to help both faculty and staff fulfill the dual responsibilities associated with their work and personal lives.

Some of the child care services and parenting information available through the University of California are detailed online.

Housing assistance programs

Faculty recruitment allowance program (pdf)

This program provides support for housing costs, but the individual may also use the allowance to support childcare expenses, education or tuition assistance, or similar expenses.
