Brief Design Build Contract Templates

Used to Contract with a single party that Designs and Builds the project

The Brief Design Build contract templates listed below must be used by the University when the University contracts with a single party that designs and builds the project. The Brief Design Build form is only for use on agreements whose design and construction cost do not exceed $5,000,000.

The following documents are approved by the Office of the President and Office of the General Counsel for use by the Facility. A facility may place its logo on the Cover page. Each template document starts with a cover sheet and set of instructions. These instructions are for the Facility only and should not be added to the Contract Documents when distributed to the Bidder, Contractor or Design-Builder. Any document identified as "not in contract" is for the use of the Facility and should not be released outside the University.

Documents identified as "core documents" shall not be modified by the Facility. Any revisions to these templates are made and issued by the Office of the President.
