Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
Established in response to recommendations from UCOP’s 2020 Anti-Racism Task Force Report, ERGs are volunteer-led organizations grouped around specific demographic categories and interests. The EDI Department works with UCOP ERGs to support their efforts and development. All ERGs have an executive sponsors and receive an annual budget.

Asian and Pacific Islander Staff Association
APISA promotes and enhances the well-being of Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islander staff, faculty and students through active participation and representation at UCOP and the community at large.
Black Staff and Faculty Organization
BSFO strives to maintain a network of communication amongst Black employees at UCOP, specifically promoting an environment that supports the well-being, enrichment, and professional development of UCOP’s Black staff and faculty.
Latinx Staff Association
LaSA promotes the general welfare and interests of Latinx employees in the Office of the President and supports the educational mission of the University, particularly as it relates to the Latinx community.
Native American, Indigenous and Pacific Islander Staff Association
The mission of NAIPISA is to form a welcoming environment at UCOP for staff who identify as Native American, Indigenous and Pacific Islander and to provide meaningful opportunities for them to engage with UC’s mission.
Staff Assembly
The OP Staff Assembly supports UC's mission by encouraging communication between staff and the administration and other members of the university community on matters of interest to staff employees, in accordance with California laws and regental policy.
President's Advisory Committee on the Status of Women
PACSW examines issues regarding the status of women at UCOP and analyzes existing policies, procedures, and programs that affect those issues.
PRIDE
UCOP Pride is dedicated to providing advocacy, education, and community building for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, genderqueer, and non-binary community, and its allies, within UCOP and beyond.
Sustainability
The Sustainability Employee Resource Group (SERG) serves to create and promote a culture of sustainability at UCOP locations and focuses on UC Sustainable Practices Policy issue areas.

The mission of Veterans Among US is to serve our communities, the University of California and each other.
