Airfare discounts range from 2% – 15% for domestic and 3% – 55% for international, depending on the airline and ticket class. Airline partner tickets must be booked through a UC preferred travel agency (with an agent or online). For additional information on airline discounts visit the travel portal.

The advantages of booking within the UC system are the discounts and ticket protection — and for international airfare our discounts are much stronger averaging 20%. Not by using alternate airlines, but the very airlines that were traveled on. The airlines also provide us discounts based on the various fare classes and UC agents are able to see all the various types of tickets available for a flight and offer advice on where the best discount is — if you could get a refundable fare for the same price (or close enough) to a nonrefundable fare due to our negotiations, would that not be worth it for your unit? In addition, we are able to work with our airline partners to allow name changes so that if one traveler cannot make the trip and the ticket is nonrefundable, we may be able to transfer that ticket to a new traveler.
