CAP Forum
2017 College Access and Preparation Forum
June 20–21, 2017
In a challenging and swiftly evolving landscape for public education, the 6th Annual UC College Access and Preparation (CAP) Forum explored how UC professionals can rededicate ourselves to improving academic preparation and postsecondary access for all California students, particularly those from underserved communities.
The 2017 CAP Forum began with a welcome and remarks by UCLA Professor Jerry Kang, Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. We were also pleased to host two vibrant keynote speakers for the forum:
Pedro Noguera, Distinguished Professor of Education, UCLA
Robin Holmes-Sullivan, Vice President for Student Affairs, UC Office of the President
