Location: 1111 Franklin Lobby with the Work Management Center
Hours: Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. If scheduled in advance, a staff member can be on-site on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to assist with requests submitted to building.services@ucop.edu.
Incoming Mail and Deliveries: Mail for Oakland facilities will be picked up from the Post Office on Monday and Wednesday mornings and sorted to department mailboxes located in the mailroom. Package deliveries coming directly to Franklin (FedEx, UPS, etc.) will be received at the security desk and sorted to the department mailboxes in the mailroom. Department representatives may pick up mail and deliveries on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during regular business hours by following building access procedures (see "Building Access" below). If no staff is available, please ask Security for access. This schedule allows for social distancing in the combined work area.
Outgoing Mail: Drop off outgoing mail in the outgoing mail bin located in the mailroom on the same days for mail retrieval Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during regular business hours. If no staff is available, please ask security for access. This schedule allows physical distancing in the combined work area.

- First point of contact for building maintenance assistance*
- Site administration of UCOP employee systems: iRequest and iVisitor
- Issuance of UCOP employee security badges (building access) or revision of clearances on current security badges*
- Issuance of garage access cards and parking coordination with the Pre-Tax Commuter Program
- Keys for both office spaces (Building Engineers) and furniture (WMC)*
- First point of contact for building custodial assistance*

The Franklin Business Center is a self-service space to sort mail and prepare binders, as well as use copy machines for printing, photocopying and document scanning. There is instructional signage for Wi-Fi, printer, troubleshooting and contact information should help be required. All staff should follow on-site requirements to access the Business Center. It is not to be used for conference calls, Zoom meetings, or lengthy on-site working.
Location: Franklin Lobby 2, the Business Center
Hours: Accessible 24/7 through on-site support is available only during regular business hours. Reservations may be required if there is high demand.

Prepare to use the Business Center
- Know your Department Code for copying
- Save items in your Box folders for easy access from the on-site computer, or bring your laptop and connect to WiFi to print
- Bring any special supplies to complete your task; basic copy room supplies are provided
On-site requirements
Follow these requirements for being on-site to use the Franklin Business Center:
- Every day you come to the office, complete UCOP Screen before arriving on-site. While on-site, you must wear a face covering, maintain strict physical distancing and follow pandemic-related facility signage. Face coverings, hand sanitizer and cleaning supplies will be provided.
- Register in iVisitor for the date and time to be on-site.
- Complete the Guidance on Coronavirus and On-site Operations course in the UC Learning Center. (All staff were required to complete this course by Aug. 31.)
- Enter your name on the sign-up sheet inside the Business Center. Sanitation supplies will be available to wipe down pens and surfaces between use.
