Experience

Veronica Marsich joined the UCSD Office of Campus Counsel in April 2020 as Chief Counsel for UC San Diego Health, specializing in health care law.  Veronica has over 25 years of experience representing complex health care organizations in a variety of matters.  She has significant experience in the areas of reimbursement law and fraud and abuse matters and spent 12 years prior to joining UC as general counsel for a health system where she handled a broad array of health care and transactional matters and also provided counsel on governance and employment matters.
