Experience
Robert Gaumer joined the Office of General Counsel in December 2018 in the Benefits group. His primary area of practice provides support to Human Resources and the Retirement Administration Service Center on legal issues affecting UC’s wide array of employee benefit plans, including health and welfare insurance plans, a pension plan, and retirement savings programs. Prior to joining the Office of the General Counsel, he spent 13 years as General Counsel for the employee retirement plans of Sacramento and Alameda Counties.
Education
Robert has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, Ca.
