Experience
Rafael Pacquing joined UC Legal at the Oakland office in December 2022 as Principal Counsel – Equity Transactions. He is responsible for advising on and handling transactions relating to UC’s acceptance of startup company equity and other securities in licensing, incubator, and accelerator deals. Prior to joining UC Legal, Mr. Pacquing practiced in his own firm as outside general counsel to startup companies primarily in the software, security, and consumer products industries. His firm focused on corporate transactions involving offerings of preferred stock, SAFEs, and debt securities as well as a range of commercial transactions, including software licenses and services agreements. Prior to that, he had a generalist business law practice at a San Francisco firm, and he started his career at a business litigation firm in Los Angeles.
