Experience
Monica Sloboda joined the Office of the General Counsel in 2023. She provides legal advice and support to the real estate services teams at the Office of the President and at University campuses for a wide variety of complex, transactional matters related to the acquisition, development, and operation of real properties for medical, educational, housing, research, and natural reserve uses. Her practice involves providing risk guidance for her clients, and negotiating and drafting agreements, including acquisition and disposition agreements, leases, development agreements, and other instruments related to the University’s real estate needs.
Before joining the Office of the General Counsel, Ms. Sloboda served as in-house counsel at T-Mobile for 11 years providing legal support for real estate and development matters, and worked for 11 years at the boutique real estate law firms Morgan Miller Blair, and Miller Starr Regalia.
