Ina Bryant

Interim Chief Campus Counsel, UCLA

Ina Bryant is currently the Interim Chief Campus Counsel at UCLA, overseeing a wide range of legal matters impacting the university. Before accepting the interim role, Ina served as UCLA’s primary transactional attorney for seven years. She has deep experience with strategic initiatives and university matters including educational and training programs, research collaborations, contracts and grants, IP licensing, technology transfer, software licenses, professional services, new entity formation and board governance. Her broad experience extends to other areas, including campus policy updates, compliance, conflicts of interest, risk mitigation, real estate, land use, board governance, employment, privacy and data security. She is also versed in critical emerging areas such as UCLA student-athletes’ Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) rights and the evolving sponsorship landscape. Prior to joining UCLA, Bryant served as legal counsel for the Walt Disney Company. She earned her bachelor’s degree in history at UCLA and her J.D. at Loyola Law School.
