Experience

​Barton Lounsbury joined UC Legal’s Oakland office in 2014 and represents the University on a broad range of environment, health & safety; national laboratory; and land use matters.  He previously worked at a boutique environmental litigation firm in San Francisco, representing public agency and non-profit clients in state and federal courts.  Mr. Lounsbury also served as a Foreign Service environment officer with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Bangkok, Thailand, and prior to USAID, he was an attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council in Santa Monica.
