Campus articulation
Each UC campus uses information in the transfer course agreements to develop campus-specific articulation agreements with California community colleges. These campus-specific agreements allow prospective transfer students to prepare for transfer to UC while enrolled at a community college.
Campus articulation officers serve as liaisons between community college articulation officers and UC deans.
General education/breadth requirement agreements
These agreements specify which community college courses satisfy general education/breadth requirements at a particular UC campus.
Major-preparation agreements
Major-preparation agreements specify which community college courses satisfy requirements for majors at each UC campus.
Course-to-course agreements
Course-to-course agreements specify the community college courses that are comparable to or “acceptable in lieu of” corresponding courses at a particular UC campus.
