TCA policy

UC articulation analysts review TCA submissions in accordance with policies established by the Board of Admissions and Relations with Schools (BOARS) — a committee of the UC Academic Senate charged with developing undergraduate admissions requirements — and regulations governing the maximum amount of credit allowed in certain subject areas (e.g., Physical Education, English as a Second Language).

BOARS policies determine which courses can be accepted for advanced standing elective credit toward a university degree.
