UC Internal Consulting Community of Practice (ICC)
Overview
The UC Internal Consulting Community of Practice (ICC) is a systemwide forum for collaboration, sharing best practices, and engaging in continuous improvement and education. Our value is leveraging knowledge and resources among systemwide internal consulting teams and advisors to advance location priorities.
Objectives
We are guided by three objectives:
- Strengthen Networks – we will work to grow our networks and engage with each other.
- Expand Skills – we share what works and learn from each other.
- Continuously Improve – we look for ways to improve, based on evidence, from each other.
Community
We broadly define our community as those that engage on client projects at their UC location around seven broad capabilities:

While the UCOP SPMO serves as the primary conveyer of the ICC, it shares overall management responsibility with executive advisors and a planning council:
