UC Global Operations [ARCHIVE]: UCGO.org is a portal to information and resources in support of UC’s global activities; includes regulatory and international project management tools. Link is to the archived version of the website. The UCGO.org (University of California Global Operations) website was discontinued in 2023 since the original need for a systemwide clearinghouse on resources important for conducting UC international activities had changed. RPAC will be assessing if a new iteration of this website, UCGO 2.0, would be helpful to our campuses. For more information, please see Research Policy Analysis and Coordination.

Pre-Travel Medical Exams and Consultation for UC Researchers & Instructors: If you are planning a research project and are unsure what medical services are available on your campus, please contact your Medical Director, University Health Center or EH&S office for guidance.
- International Travel Clinics:
- Provide pre-trip immunizations and medical counseling specific to your destination.
- Researchers should make an appointment at least 8 weeks prior to travel.
- Typically fee for service.
- Occupational Health Clinics:
- Provide work-related exams including medical clearance for respirators, Tb tests and immunizations or medication for specific work-related hazards (e.g. handling bats, working at altitude, scientific diving, NSF Antarctica projects).
- Employees should make an appointment at least 8 weeks prior to travel.
