Systemwide Pesticide Oversight Committee

The University of California Systemwide Pesticide Oversight Committee (SPOC) is comprised of representatives with expertise in Agriculture & Natural Resources, Toxicology, Environmental Health, Sustainability, and Facilities Management. The purpose of the SPOC is to implement recommendations as documented in the Herbicide Task Force report (accepted by the President on 05/22/2020), serve as the standing oversight committee with respect to the Presidential Integrated Pest Management Policy, and act as a reporting conduit on UC pesticide management practices.
