Celebrating Latino Alumni and the Communities We Build

This gathering honors the legacy and future of Latino alumni at Berkeley—lifelong students whose stories illuminate the power of connection, joy, and shared purpose. Rooted in the meanings of alumni, community, and coalition, we celebrate how engagement between students, staff, faculty, and alumni becomes unity, and unity becomes movement. Together, we build not just networks, but history.
Join your UC alumni community for a day filled with inspiring updates, networking, and thought-provoking discussions on how we can continue to thrive as a community.  
The UC CLAA is a statewide collective of Latinx alumni from all ten UC campuses whose mission is to support the overall advancement of the UC to better serve the needs of the on-campus and off-campus Chicanx Latinx community including alumni, staff, faculty, and students.

WHERE CAN WE STAY?

Berkeley City Club: CAA members get a 10% discount on hotel accommodations. To receive the discount, mention your CAA membership when making your reservation and present your membership card in person. 

Residence Inn: CAA members get a 15% discount on available rates. 

WHICH AIRPORT SHOULD I TRAVEL TO?

There are two options: 
  • Oakland International Airport (OAK):
    • Distance: Approximately 14 miles
    • Transportation: BART provides service from the airport to Downtown Berkeley Station.

  • San Francisco International Airport (SFO):
    • Distance: Approximately 25 miles
    • Transportation: BART provides service from the airport to Downtown Berkeley Station.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?  

Most alumni come in semi-casual to business casual clothing. But, we encourage you to wear your UC Campus spirit wear!
