DESCRIPTION

Christian will be engaging in hands-on research with a community garden located in a food desert of a disadvantaged neighborhood in San Diego called Ocean View Growing Grounds, via a non-profit community organizing group The Global ARC. He will be assisting with the construction of a smart aquaponic system for the purpose of climate change resilience education and how it can intersect with entrepreneurship and 21st century urban agricultural technology in an accessible way across all socioeconomic groups to demonstrate the compatibility of the intersection between environmental, economic, and social justice.
