Energy Services
We develop policies and implement strategies to support decarbonization, efficient operation, and clean energy procurement.
The Energy Services Unit (ESU) supports the University’s world-leading campuses and health system by helping to chart a path to decarbonization. In close coordination with each location, this team manages multiple energy programs: clean electricity procurement, energy efficiency, biogas procurement, environmental attributes (e.g. carbon allowances), funding strategies (e.g. financing, tax credits) and the purchased utility database.
