Systemwide Academic Personnel

At the direction of the UC System Provost and Executive Vice President, and in consultation with the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Academic Programs, Systemwide Academic Personnel develops policies and procedures that support academic careers across the University of California in furtherance of the UC mission. We are the stewards of the Academic Personnel Manual (APM) and facilitate the systemwide approach to academic recruitment, retention, advancement, compensation, employee relations, labor contract implementation, and data analysis for more than 75,000 academic appointees.
