There are several annual conferences and events at which university staff convene to learn and share best practices in sustainability and climate action. The California Higher Education Sustainability Conference (CHESC) brings together higher education professionals from across the state to discuss pertinent issues in sustainability. The UC also organizes with the California State University system and California Community College system to hold the Annual Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Best Practice Awards.
Additionally, UCOP manages the Energy Efficiency Partnership Program in partnership with CSU and the state’s four investor-owned utilities. This program provides support for staff trainings in energy efficiency and green building practices.

Honda is now offering an additional $500 off a Honda Clarity Plug-In Hybrid to all UC Faculty and Staff through April 1, 2019.
Eligible UC customers can receive $3,500 rebate off MSRP when they purchase a new 100% electric 2018 or 2019 Nissan LEAF. Offer expires April 1, 2019.
