How to Apply
The University of California is pleased to announce a funding opportunity in the Laboratory Fees Research Program.
The UC-National Lab In-Residence Graduate Fellowships provide support for doctoral graduate students to conduct in-residence research at Los Alamos or Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories in any area relevant to the labs.

Webinars:
- Program info-session: This webinar will feature current Fellows who will share their experiences, and lab liaisons who will share their view of the program. The session will end with a chance to ask questions.
- Application teleconference: This session will cover application requirements and guidance on submitting the Letter of Intent. Attendance is strongly recommended for applicants, but not required.
- Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 12:00 noon PT. Registration is closed. Slides from the presentation (pdf) are available.

- Thursday, June 4, 2020 at 12:00 noon PT: Deadline to submit a Letter of Intent. These are required and must be submitted through SmartSimple.
- *UPDATED Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at 12:00 noon PT: Given wildfire- and pandemic-related disruptions to campus operations, the deadline to submit full proposals has been extended.
- Tuesday, December 8, 2020: Expected notification of review outcome.
- Monday, April 1, 2021: Fellowship start date.
