We are pleased to provide these developmental programs to support the organization and our staff's learning objectives.
The UC Learning Center (UCLC)is the primary tool for assessing learning and development opportunities at the Office of the President. UCLC also has access to many e-courses and on-demand learning opportunities.

The UC Managing Implicit Bias Series is a six-course online training series designed to increase awareness of implicit bias and reduce its impact at the University. Employees may complete individual courses, or the entire series. Those who complete all six online courses will receive the UC Systemwide HR Managing Implicit Bias Certificate. This is a self-paced online program.
This program has been updated for 2018 and now includes the Implicit Bias Series. The program is for UCOP employees who supervise others, or aspire to do so, and consists of core and elective courses covering the following competency areas: Performance Management, Managing People, Administration and Operations, Change Management and Communications. This is a self-paced program for UCOP employees.
The UCOP Mentorship Program is a volunteer program that pairs experienced leaders and professionals across departments at the Office of the President with career, represented and contract staff who seek to develop themselves professionally.
This cohort based program is designed UCOP supervisory staff who would like to enhance their management skills. This program will explore the best techniques for motivating, coaching, engaging and developing employees as well as managing performance through goals, feedback and performance appraisals.
"Take Charge: developing a career strategy" is a five-month program designed specifically for administrative and support staff. The intent of the program is to provide the participants with tools to better manage and direct their careers.
This cohort based program is designed for non-supervisory individual contributors, who want to continue to develop additional skills and are committed to expanding their knowledge into other functional areas of UCOP.
This program aims to accelerate the development of individual leadership abilities and to create a diverse pipeline of future UCOP leaders.
UCOP-Coro Leadership Collaboration
This collaborative program between OP and the Coro Center for Civic Leadership is designed to further develop selected UCOP leaders. 12-day program includes practica, home teams, and leadership style assessments. For more information, contact Learning & Development Manager - Annie Prozan

The Management Development Program is a dynamic system-wide cohort training program that's designed for Mid-Level Managers to enhance and strengthen your leadership capabilities in the UC core competencies and ensure you have the skills, knowledge and resources to effectively lead, engage, and develop your team.
