Material transfer agreements

Material transfer agreements (MTAs) are legal agreements that govern the transfer of tangible research materials between two organizations.   MTAs cover non-commercial research, evaluation, and testing related to the materials. 

Guidance and provider specific information are available at the Material Transfer Agreements Resource Site as part of the Operational Tools suite of applications maintained by Innovation Alliances & Services. Submission of a User Confidentiality Agreement is required for Operational Tools access.
