Clinical trials

The University of California participates in sponsor-initiated clinical trials and also conducts investigator-initiated trials. UC policy and guidance aligns the University’s goals of promoting research, academic freedom, and the safety of human subjects with its obligations as a healthcare provider and participant of clinical trials.

UC Patent Acknowledgment Link

UC employees, persons not employed by the university but who use UC research facilities, and persons who receive gift, grant or contract funds through the university are all required to sign the University Patent Acknowledgment.
