Mainframe Support

The Mainframe Support unit supports the technical infrastructure for applications that run on the ITS mainframe. The major applications supported are the Payroll/Personnel System and the UC Retirement System.

• Plan, install, customize, maintain and troubleshoot hardware and infrastructure software
• Support upgrades of database software
• Troubleshoot performance issues
• Conduct capacity planning,
• Manage storage
• Maintain the disaster recovery plan
