Service Description
ITS provides monitoring services to keep track of system and application availability, identify events that may lead to incidents, and minimize outages. Monitoring covers all components of the IT infrastructure: applications, databases, disk storage, servers, automated tape library, etc.

ITS Service Tiers

  • Gold: ITS monitors process and network availability, disk usage, synthetic monitoring for application login authentication
  • Silver: ITS monitors process and network availability, disk usage, synthetic monitoring for web application URL availability
  • Bronze: ITS monitors process and network availability, and disk usage

Self Service

  • ITS provides IT customers the appropriate monitoring setup and tools to do their own monitoring.

Availability of Service
24/7, except during planned outages

Monitoring is available for systems and applications hosted in the UCOP Data Center
