Technology Asset Management Program (UCOP)

Desktop/laptop computing equipment for use at UCOP Oakland locations is centrally purchased, deployed, and managed through the Technology Asset Management Program (TAMP). ITS selects standard computing bundles for normal UCOP business use, tracks inventory, and replaces computers when necessary. Program benefits include lower computer purchase cost, streamlined purchase and deployment, in-warranty computers for staff, short-term laptop loans, license compliance for standard software, and computer spend management.
