About the RASC
The mission of the Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) is to build a state-of-the-art retirement processing center and service experience that helps employees transition to the next phase of their lives.
The Retirement Administration Service Center (RASC) supports members of the University as they transition into retirement and with life events beyond work (including University of California Retirement Plan (UCRP) retirement income, UCRP disability income, survivor benefits and UC-sponsored health and welfare benefits).
The RASC provides plan members — employees, retirees, and their eligible family members — information they need to understand their options, make informed decisions and effectively manage their benefits. The RASC administers UC Policies and Plans for retiree health and welfare benefits with a user-friendly, efficient, and accurate approach.
Additionally, the RASC ensures that UCRP and benefit plans are administered in a manner consistent with appropriate plan documents and regulations.
