Thomas C. Schroeder
Thomas C. Schroeder serves as Senior Counsel in the Office of General Counsel, where he is a member of the Business Transactions Group (Non-Profit Organizations & Charitable Giving). Before joining the office in 2013, Mr. Schroeder was Associate General Counsel at The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and an attorney in the Tax-Exempt Organizations Practice Group at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Schroeder held positions in the department of European Paintings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. Mr. Schroeder is a graduate of Bowdoin College (A.B., Art History and English), The Courtauld Institute of Art, University of London (M.A., History of Art) and the University of Washington School of Law (J.D.), where he was Executive Articles Editor of the Washington Law Review.
