Nicole L. Craig
Nicole Craig joined the Office of General Counsel in 2011. She monitors risk management related litigation, particularly in the general liability area, and provides counsel to risk management staff on insurance and related issues.
Prior to joining OGC, she worked for many years as in-house counsel for Safeco Insurance Company, and has worked for private law firms, litigating tort and insurance coverage issues. She has extensive trial experience, and serves as Judge Pro Tem in Small Claims in San Francisco Superior Court.
Ms. Craig taught a course at Lincoln Law School on the constitutional issues of sexual orientation law, and has served as a Conference Delegate at the California State Bar Annual Meeting. Ms. Craig attended the University of California, Berkeley, and received a Bachelor's degree in Management from St. Mary’s College. She received her law degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1996.
