Barton Lounsbury


Barton Lounsbury joined the Office of General Counsel in March 2014 and focuses on environmental and land use matters.  He previously worked at a boutique environmental litigation firm in Berkeley, representing public agency and non-profit clients in state and federal courts.  Mr. Lounsbury also served as a foreign service environment officer with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) in Bangkok, Thailand, and prior to USAID, he was an attorney with the Natural Resources Defense Council in Santa Monica.

Mr. Lounsbury received his J.D., M.U.P. (Urban Planning), and B.A. from Harvard University.
