Amy Blum

Senior Counsel, UCLA

L. Amy Blum is Campus Counsel for the University of California, Los Angeles. In that capacity she advises the Administration on a broad range of issues including, employment disputes, student and faculty misconduct, discrimination, intellectual property, business affairs, electronic communications, privacy, e-discovery, among other things. Ms. Blum also serves on the UCLA Advisory Board on Privacy and Data Protection.

Prior to joining The Regents of the University of California in 2004, Ms. Blum was a litigation partner in the Los Angeles office of Reed Smith, L.L.P. and was the Southern California Market Trial Practice Group Leader.

Ms. Blum received a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Cruz (1983) and graduated summa cum laude with a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law (1988).
