Amy Blum

Interim Vice Chancellor, Legal Affairs

L. Amy Blum became the Interim Vice Chancellor of Legal Affairs for the University of California, Los Angeles, in October 2015. She serves as chief legal counsel at UCLA, advising leadership and overseeing legal services to academic and administrative units. She previously served UCLA as Managing Campus Counsel since 2008 and before that, Campus Counsel beginning in 2004.

Prior to joining the University of California, Ms. Blum was a litigation partner in the Los Angeles office of Reed Smith, L.L.P. and was their Southern California Market Trial Practice Group Leader.

Ms. Blum received a B.A. in environmental studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a J.D. summa cum laude from Santa Clara University School of Law.
