| Description:This is a ½ day session derived from last year’s LEED™ for Project Managers. This presentation guides the attendee through the development process, with the preferred future of a green or certified LEED™ building. A procurement checklist is provided to help track the consideration and inclusion of sustainable principles on a case project. Topics include: commitment, budgeting, programming, consultant selection, design, construction and operations. For each topic, additional information is provided on an annotated checklist. The audience is heavily involved in creating the action items for the case project. Through participation, the audience gains skill in determining the forces at work in a green project, and how to reach the environmental goals cost effectively. |
