Senior Director, P-20 Partnerships, Teaching and Leadership
Nina Moore provides policy and program direction for UC’s P-20 partnerships, educator preparation, and professional development programs and initiatives. She brings to this work more than 25 years of experience in K-12, university, state, and federal education program management, partnership development and support, policy research and analysis, and grants administration.
Moore has worked with schools and districts in urban and rural communities throughout California supporting and nurturing partnerships designed to enhance teaching and learning as well as to increase college and career opportunities for students traditionally underrepresented in postsecondary education. Over the course of 21 years at the UC Office of the President, Moore has directed grant programs, supported K-12 partnerships and professional development efforts, and served as the UCOP lead on teacher and administrator preparation policies and programs.
Moore has a BA in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz, MA in Broadcast Communications from San Francisco State University, and Ph.D. in Education from UC Davis with an emphasis in school organization and education policy.
