Biography
Stephanie Coghlan is the Associate Administrator for UCSB Student Health Services. She was born and raised in Santa Barbara. She very proud that her rich family history in Santa Barbara for 7 generations. She is a member of Reina del Mar, a local chapter of the Native Daughters of the Golden West. Stephanie attended UCSB in pre-law studies in the 1980s and worked as an office manager at Islay Investments and Kamunity Properties, local property management companies from 1980-1996.
She started her UCSB career at Student Health in 1996 as Medical Records Manager. She was awarded the Staff Citation of Excellence in 1999. She also served as a member of Vice Chancellor Michael Young's Management Development Group from 2004-2006. In 2006-07, she worked with the UCSB Housing and Residential Operations Team from 2006-7. She is currently serving a three year term as staff representative to the UCSB Student Fee Advisory Committee. Stephanie has been a member of Staff Assembly since 2005. She is looking forward to serving as Co-Chair with Kim Summerfield and representing her fellow staff members.
