Biography
Stefano De Santis is the Senior Delegate to CUCSA from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). He joined LBNL has a Postdoctoral Fellow in 1998, working in the Accelerator Physics Group of the Advanced Light Source, a Department of Energy third-generation synchrotron and user facility. In 2000 Dr. De Santis moved to the Center for Beam Physics in the Accelerator and Fusion Research Division where he is presently a Staff Scientist working on the development of diagnostic instrumentation for particle accelerators.

Born in Naples and raised in Rome, Italy, Stefano earned a MS in Electronics Engineering and a Ph.D. in Applied Electromagnetism from the University of Rome. Before joining LBNL, he has carried on his research in several laboratories across Europe.
