Biography
Connie Croker started her work career at UC Santa Cruz in 1977 as a key entry operator in McHenry Library and is currently the Library's Budget Analyst. Connie has been involved in the Library's Diversity Committee and the UC Santa Cruz's Women at Work Retreat Steering Committee. As a member of the Staff Advisory Board, Connie has served on the Transportation Advisory Committee, Thumb's Up Awards, Elections, and Staff Appreciation BBQ committees. She also chairs the Compensation/Parity Committee. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Anthropology.
"As Junior Delegate to CUCSA, I am very excited to have this opportunity to work with CUCSA delegates from the 12 other UC Staff Assemblies. Staff issues cross many boundaries, but ultimately our job is to be the voice for improving the work life of staff while encouraging opportunities for career development. It has been a privilege this past year to be part of UC Santa Cruz Staff Advisory Board, which has been very proactive bringing forward staff issues to Chancellor Blumenthal."
